We'll end the week with continued above average temperatures. Friday and Saturday, we'll see high temperatures in the upper 80's to lower 90's. Keep in mind that the "average" high temperatures for this time of the year are in the lower 80's. Low temperatures are also running about 5 degrees or so above average.
Our next system comes through this Sunday and into Monday in the form of a cold front. We'll see the best chance for rain and a few thunderstorms on Sunday, with some of them lingering into Monday morning. The front won't cool us down a whole lot though, just a few degrees. We'll remain in the 60's for our low temperatures and the mid to upper 80's for our high temperatures until the NEXT cold front comes through- next Wed/Thu. On Thursday we'll drop into the upper 50's for lows and upper 70's for highs, much more "average" temperatures. We'll also see a slight chance for rain with the Wed/Thu front as well. For now, we'll just have to try and stay cool and hold out for some more fall weather!
