DEVILLE, La. - Detectives from the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office found drug paraphernalia and guns at 253 Hazmuka Road in Deville, after sheriff deputies got a tip that meth was being sold from the home.

According to sheriff's office reports, detectives spoke with Nancy Plunkett and Michael Proveaux and while talking to Proveaux, they noticed a marijuana bong on a table.

Detectives obtained a search warrant and searched the house. They found several bags and containers that held methamphetamine, numerous methamphetamine smoking pipes, a bag of synthetic marijuana, a bag of marijuana, five marijuana pipes, a marijuana grinder, numerous assorted prescription pills, digital scales, small plastic baggies, a container of MSM (commonly used to cut methamphetamine to increase quantity), a .357 revolver and a .44 magnum handgun.

Plunkett, 40, and Proveaux, 39, were both found to be convicted felons. They were arrested on several charges for possession of marijuana, meth and having firearms. Plunkett was also on probation and had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Proveaux and Plunkett were released after posting bond.
