Prepare for another warm, but nice day in CenLa on Saturday. We'll see high temperatures in the upper 80's once again, but plenty of sunshine. Our next front approaches the area on Sunday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. The chance for rain will increase as we head into the afternoon and evening hours. More rain is likely overnight Sunday and a few lingering showers are also possible on Monday. We should see a few thunderstorms with this event, but widespread severe weather is not expected.
Once the front pushes out of the region, we'll cool down slightly...seeing low temperatures in the upper 50's by Tuesday morning. A secondary cold front will push through Wed/Thu. This front will bring us a slight chance for rain, but cooler temperatures than the first front. By the end of next week we should drop into the upper 70's for highs and middle 50's for lows...finally seeing some Fall weather again!
