Social Media Workshop For Hiring Wednesday

ALEXANDRIA, La. - The Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Gold, Weems, Bruser, Sues & Fundell Law Firm to provide the last workshop of an ongoing series on social media law.

The program titled, "Conquering Social Media," will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the chamber office, 1118 3rd St. in Alexandria.

The workshop is scheduled to be presented by Joe Perez-Montes and Annalynn S. McDermott of Gold Weems, Bruser, Sues & Rundell.

Speakers say the workshop will provide attendees with an overview on using social media to make employment decisions.

Attendees will learn the prevalence of social networking sites in making hiring, firing, and other employment decisions.
