We've got a BEAUTIFUL week of weather ahead of us, but first we have to get past tonight. Another cold front is approaching the region, and it will bring showers and thunderstorms ahead of it. The best chance for activity is from 7pm-2am. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but there is a good chance we could see isolated severe storms. The biggest threat from any severe storms will be high winds, heavy rains, and small hail. Although, the possibility of an isolated tornado can not be ruled out so stay alert.
After the front passes through late tonight we will begin to see the rain chances sharply drop off. Skies will begin clearing overnight and leave us with a nice looking Thursday. There is only a slight chance for a stray shower through around 7am.
Over the next week high pressure will dominate the forecast, with no storm systems currently in the 7 day forecast. We can expect low temperatures to drop into the upper 40's by Friday morning and even cooler lows for Saturday morning. While our lows will slowly warm up throughout the week, our high temperatures will quickly warm up. We'll enjoy the upper 70's for Thursday and Friday, but by the end of the weekend we'll be pushing the middle 80's again.
Overall, we're looking at a fantastic fall forecast with sunny skies, cooler temperatures, and almost no chance for rain throughout the next 7 days!
