Overview
There is a developing Low Pressure System in East Texas that is continuing to move East. In the wake of this system, expect a ridge of high pressure to build in, providing clearing skies and cooler temperatures.

Discussion
This low will bring higher rain chances and a slight risk for severe weather along and to the South of the I-10 Corridor. All of this will be during the afternoon and evening hours, today.  Any rain will come as scattered showers and thunderstorms. In the wake of this system, expect clearing skies and much cooler conditions.
These more pleasant conditions will stick around through the weekend.
  
For the rest of the day
Expect to see mostly cloudy to overcast skies and topping out at much cooler temperatures. Highs will be in a seasonable range and rain chances will be on the rise through the afternoon and into the overnight hours. Altogether, expect to see a 60% chance for rain, today. This means that just over half of the area will see some of this rain. Overnight, we will see tapering rain chances, clearing skies and a cool low in the 40's.

For the rest of the 7day planner
The cold front will move out of our area, overnight. Through the later part of the week, we will see sunny skies and rain chances off the board. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40's for a couple of nights but will remain in a comfortable range. This time, 7days out, will be our next chance for rain.

TODAY...A cold front will move through the area bringing a(60%) chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms and a slight risk for severe weather along the I-10 corridor and South LA. Highs 70-77. East, becoming North winds 4-12mph.

MONDAY NIGHT. Continued rain chances (50%) followed by clearing skies and cooler conditions. Lows 45-51 NW wind 3-12mph.
