There is a Low Pressure System that will continue to move NE and up the Atlantic Coastline. This Nor-easter will bring even more rough weather and a lot of snowfall to the already battered coastline of NE U.S. In the wake of this system, expect a ridge of high pressure to build in, providing clearing skies and cooler temperatures. Elsewhere there is a broad high pressure ridge that is extended over the much of the Nation, to include Louisiana.

This ridge of high pressure will remain extended over our area into the weekend. Therefore our weather pattern will remain under the influence of this feature with pleasant conditions for the next couple of days. So, a chilly start, sunny skies and a northerly breeze will be the theme until our next weather maker moves into the area..
For the rest of the day
Expect to see sunny skies, coupled with seasonably pleasant conditions and a moderate wind becoming light to moderate and out of the Southeast. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60's and lower 70's. Overnight, we will see temperatures drop well into the 40's again with a light and variable wind and clear skies.
For the rest of the 7day planner
A cold front will approach our area during the next couple of days. So that means that during the next couple of days, we will see gradually increasing clouds and a warming trend. Saturday is when the skies will really fill in with clouds and Sunday will bring with it, increasing rain chances late in the day. The front will push through on Monday and bring much needed rainfall to the area. Tuesday, temps drop and skies clear out, again.
TODAY...Sunny skies with pleasant and seasonal temps. Highs 67-75. North, becoming East wind 2-12mph.
THURSDAY NIGHT...Clear skies and chilly temps, again. Lows 39-46. Light & Variable wind.
