As we head into Sunday our weather pattern will begin to chance as a cold front moves into the area. We can expect mostly cloudy skies to start the day, becoming overcast. Expect increasing rain chances as we head into the afternoon hours- 30% by noon and 40% by 5pm. After 5pm rain chances go up significantly. High temperatures in the upper 70's to lower 80's. Winds from the S at 10-20 mph. Chance of rain is 50% during the day time hours.
Sunday night is when we'll see the most action.....rain, heavy at times, and thunderstorms. We will most likely see at least a few *severe* thunderstorms. The biggest threat from any severe thunderstorms will be heavy rains, strong winds, and hail. However, the possibility of isolated tornadoes can not be ruled out. Winds from the S at 5-15 mph (higher gusts in t-storms) shifting to the N at 5-12 mph after the front passes. Chance of rain is 90%.
On Monday we can expect a few lingering showers and thunderstorms through the morning and early afternoon. After that, high temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 60's and skies will begin to clear out. Winds from the N at 10-15 mph. Chance of rain 50% before noon.
For the rest of the week we can expect nice weather with low rain chances. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings we will see lows in the 30's. We also won't make it out of the 60's for highs on these days. As we head into next weekend we'll slowly begin to warm up into the 40's for lows and 70's for highs.
Make sure to stay alert tomorrow night. If there is any severe weather we'll be sure to keep you updated on TV and on the web.
