
The pattern of fall weather continued in central Louisiana Wednesday.
Morning lows ranged through the 30s with Jena touching 32 degrees for the lowest temperature reported. DeRidder stayed at 40 for their low. These numbers are still well below the 30-year average of 46 degrees.
Afternoon highs also stayed below normal with readings in the low to mid 60s, except Natchez, Miss., where the thermometer only rose to 58 degrees. The 30-year average for the date is 70 degrees.
The cool, dry weather pattern will continue for several more days. Tonight may the coldest, with a light freeze or a frost expected almost areawide.
