A cold front will work it's way into our area to start the beginning of the work week. For Monday we can expect overcast and dreary conditions throughout the entire day. Some of us will see showers throughout the day time tomorrow, but nearly all of us will see rain for Monday night. We will likely see thunderstorms as well. A widespread severe weather event is not in the forecast, but there is a decent chance that we could see some isolated severe weather and locally strong thunderstorms. The biggest threats from these storms would be strong winds, hail, heavy rains, and isolated tornadoes.
Most of the rain should be out of the way by early Tuesday morning. After that, we'll slowly begin to clear out. Tuesday's high temperatures will struggle to reach the 60 degree mark. We'll also see temperatures in the 60's for Wednesday and Thursday before we begin to see a warming trend again. Tuesday and Wednesday nights look to be the coolest of the week- we should drop into the upper 30's.
The next chance for rain comes into the forecast Friday-Sunday, but as of right now it's only around 20%.
