An overnight cold front caused temperature antics in central Louisiana Tuesday. The highest temperatures for the day occurred between midnight Monday and 6 AM. The lowest readings will occur between 6PM and midnight Tuesday.
The front triggered rain for most residents of central Louisiana but the amounts were not generous. Plaucheville in Avoyelles Parich measured one inch for the highest total from our rain gauge network. Everyone I spoke with said they were thankful for the rain but more is needed.
