ALEXANDRIA, La. - All locations of the Rapides Parish Library will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 through Wednesday, Dec. 26 to observe Christmas. Locations will resume regular business hours on Thursday, Dec. 27.
All library locations will close again on Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Locations will resume regular business hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The Rapides Parish Library is a medium-size public library, serving Rapides Parish located in central Louisiana. The library consists of a main library, five urban branches, four rural branches, a bookmobile, a van service to the homebound, and a van service to child development centers.
