1 Loaf French Bread
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
Slice French bread into 1 inch slices.
Mix remaining ingredients into egg bath.
Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan (or butter the heck out of it).
Drop bread into bath – cover both sides completely.
Arrange on pan.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans and bacon.
Cover and chill overnight.
***BEFORE BAKING*** In a sauce pan, melt butter and brown sugar. Pour over bread. Bake 35 – 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
