A weak cold front is continuing to move through the area, bringing showers and overcast skies to CenLa. Here at KALB in downtown Alexandria we've picked up 7/10" of rain for today. Once the rain moves out later tonight we'll see fog develop in many areas. The fog will stick around through the early morning hours on Sunday before burning off. Once the fog is out we can expect nice weather for most of Sunday and on Monday. Sunday morning will bring lows in the middle 30's while some of us may see a light freeze for Monday morning. Highs for both Sunday and Monday will remain in the upper 50's before quickly warming up into the 60's by Tuesday.
Our next weather maker comes this way late Tuesday night as a front approaches the region. We can expect showers and possibly a few thunderstorms Tuesday night through Wednesday night. After this front moves out we'll see sunny skies and comfortable temperatures once again to end the work week.
