A strong cold front brought more rain to the already soaked soil of central Louisiana. However, the situation did not produce the excessive amounts of rain that were expected. Many amounts were less than one inch but there were several locations that received 1-2 inches. Here are some of the peak totals:
More rain is on the way for Monday. It will be a chilling, raw rain with temperatures falling into the 30s as it begins. This could set the stage for some light sleet along and north of a Many-Natchez line.
