By all accounts, Tuesday was a terrific weather day: not much wind, ample sunshine, and comfortable temperatures.
Morning lows ranged from the middle 30s to the lower 40s. The cool spot was Natchez, MS with a low of 34 degrees. Winnfield, Jena, Bunkie, and Fairfield held down second place with a low of 35 degrees. Opelousas and Ville Platte reported the highest reading at 42 degrees.
Afternoon high temperatures reached the 60s. Once again, Natchez was the cool spot with a high of 61 degrees. Many reported 69 degrees for the highest temperature in central Louisiana.
Wednesday promises to be another delightful day. Enjoy!
