Matt Jordan joined the KALB team in January 2013 as a Multimedia Journalist. Matt spent much of his life in rainy but laid-back Pacific Northwest. He was born in Eugene, Oregon and raised in Junction City, Oregon.
Matt was most recently a Production Assistant for KEZI news in Eugene after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2011 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. At the U of O, Matt also participated in the campus news program and directed a sketch-comedy show for the campus television station.
In 2010 Matt, interned at CNN in Washington, D.C. and was exposed to politics and personalities on a national level. In High School, Matt began his love for journalism as news editor for his school paper.
Matt is a politics enthusiast but also enjoys running, cooking, playing guitar and above all else, Oregon Ducks sports.
Matt looks forward to living in Alexandria and learning about the culture, the people, the beauty and especially the food in Central Louisiana.
