Over the next few days we'll continue to see a southerly flow stream warm, moist air into Cenla. On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday we can expect to see high temperatures in the lower to mid 70's- well above average for this time of the year. Our lows will also remain in the 50's and 60's during this period.
Our next weather maker comes this way Tuesday afternoon, bringing a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. This cold front will move through the area overnight before pushing out of the region on Wednesday. The best chance for rain will be late Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning. Thunderstorms will be possible and some could be strong; however, widespread severe weather is not expected.
Once the front moves out we will see a return to more "normal" temperatures for late January/early February. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we'll see sunny skies with just a few clouds, lows in the 30's, and highs in the 50's and 60's.
Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts!
