PINEVILLE, La. – A Pineville man on his motorcycle was killed on Pineville Expressway Saturday during a single-vehicle accident.
According to Lt. Darrell Basco of the Pineville Police Department, investigators believed that the rider, William Woolley, 60, lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle on the expressway south of the La. Hwy 28 East exchange.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead.
Basco says alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident. He also says the case is still open and the accident is under investigation.
