The folks I talked to today said today's seasonal temps and ample sunshine were a good way to end the week.
Afternoon highs ranged from the middle 50s to the middle 60s. This pattern reflected a weak front in the area. The highest readings came from the western and southern portions of central Louisiana where the influence of the front was less. Many reached 66 degrees and Fort Polk reported 65 degrees for the highest daily max temps. In contrast, Jena only managed 55 degrees and Winnfield 56.
The weather should cooperate with your outdoor plans this weekend. Have a fun but safe time.
