GORGEOUS SATURDAY

I finished talking to the weather watchers a while ago and it's unanimous: the weather was absolutely gorgeous Saturday.

It was a cold start, however, as most lows fell into the 30s. In fact, a few locations hit the freezing mark, including Winnfield and Esler Airport. Daytime highes soared mostly into the 70s with the highest reading coming from Bellwood at 74 degrees. The cool spots were Natchez, MS at 68 and Simmesport at 69 degrees.
