Morning lows started out in the 40s except for Leesville, where a reading of 39 degrees occurred. Simmesport had the highest min temp at 48 degrees. Daytime highs were mostly 60s with Grand Coteau reporting 67, and Marksville and Opelousas 66. Jena, Ball/Tioga, and Natchez, Miss. all reported 59 degrees as the cool spots.
Most locations reported rain but the amounts were light. The chance for more rain is on tap for tonight into Tuesday morning. However, amounts will again be light.
