The week ended on a pleasant note with near normal temperatures. Lows fell into the 30s again with Winnfield registering the lowest with 31 degrees. Bunkie, Ville Platte, DeRidder, and Fort Polk all reported 38 degrees.
Afternoon highs managed to reach the 60s as a cold front bridged in from the north. Marksville was the warm spot at 68 degrees but Winnfield could only make it up to 61 degrees.
Scattered light rain moved southeastward across central Louisiana during the late afternoon and the evening hours as the front became re-established across the area.
Enjoy the weekend!
