The new week started springlike as a strong south and southwesterly wind brought temperatures into the 70s by the afternoon. This was after Sunday morning, which brought the lowest temperatures of the winter to most locations around central Louisiana. The temperature roller coaster was in response to a major storm system to the north.
Another cold front will move through Tuesday morning. Light amounts of rain will be scattered and the front will once again usher colder air into the region. I'm expecting three mornings (Wed. through Fri) when min temps will fall into the 30s.
