On Sunday a cold front will work it's way towards Cenla, bringing a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. We can expect scattered showers through the early morning hours, followed by widespread rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Some of these thunderstorms will produce heavy rains and gusty winds. We could see anywhere from 1-3 inches with this event, with locally heavier amounts.
We'll begin to clear out late Sunday night into Monday morning. On Monday we can expect a cooler day, with highs temperatures reaching only the upper 50's. We'll start Tuesday out with cool temperatures- lows in the mid 30's- before warming into the middle 60's. However, as we head into mid-week we'll see a return to more average temperatures for this time of year. Beginning Wednesday and lasting into the weekend we'll see highs in the upper 60's to lower 70's! Our lows will range from the lower to upper 40's throughout the remainder of the week.
Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour tonight, as Daylight Saving Time resumes!
