Monday's cold front dropped temperatures across central Louisiana today.

Daytime highs were ten degrees lower than Monday's near-record warmth. Bellwood and Anacoco were the warm spots with 78 degrees while Natchez, Miss. was the cool spot with 72 degrees.
An area of maximum winds in the jet stream, called a jet stream, will move across central Louisiana during the night and Wednesday morning. This will trigger scattered showers. The disturbance will sweep through quickly so a clearing trend will commence Wednesday afternoon.
