A strong cold front has brought winter back to Cenla, just as spring has officially sprung!
Throughout the next several days we can expect freezing temperatures. Tonight the entire area can expect to see temperatures at or slightly below the freezing mark. On Monday night the breezy NW winds will begin to decrease allowing for temperatures to drop even lower! So, expect temperatures to be quite cold when you wake up on Tuesday morning. Wednesday will bring us our final morning with freezing temperatures. By Thursday morning, we should be back into the lower 40's and temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week.
As far as high temperatures go, we won't make it out of the upper 50's on Monday or Tuesday-even with plenty of sunshine. By Wednesday we'll finally reach the lower to mid 60's for highs and by Friday we'll hit the 70 degree mark once again.
We can expect sunshine and low rain chances through Thursday, before we introduce a chance for showers as we head into next weekend.
