Over the next few days we will continue to see a warming trend here in Central Louisiana. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday we will see temperatures ranging from the middle 70's to the lower 80's! Throughout this same time we can expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a slight chance for showers every afternoon. Morning fog is also possible during this time, as dew points remain high.
Our next big weather system moves this way by mid-week. The models are in much disagreement on the timing of this system. Some bring it through early Wednesday, while others don't have the main line of storms moving through until later on Thursday. We'll have a better idea exactly when to expect it by Monday. Either way, we can expect showers and thunderstorms beginning sometime Wednesday and likely lasting through at least Thursday afternoon. This same system is setting up a possible severe weather event throughout the southeast, so stay tuned for details.
Once the front does move through we'll clear out nicely for next weekend- with cooler temperatures.
