This morning a cold front continues to push through the area bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms to the area. The front has been very slow moving across the area, but will eventually move out by mid-morning. This will allow us to clear out by the early afternoon hours.
In fact, by tonight we'll see clear skies with low temperatures dropping into the lower to mid-40's. That's about 5-10 degrees below average for this time of the year. Friday and Saturday will be the best weather days in our near future. Expect mostly sunny skies with no rain on both of those days. Saturday's high temperatures will climb into the upper 70's, so we'll see a nice, warm day in store for any outdoor activities you have planned.
As we head into Sunday we'll introduce a chance for showers back into the forecast as an upper-level disturbance moves through overhead. This slight chance for showers will continue into the beginning of the work week as we continue a spring pattern, with warm temperatures and southerly flow.
Enjoy the upcoming nice weather!
