A wonderful end to the work week is in store for today and we'll keep the pattern going through much of Saturday. Expect sunny skies with cool morning temperatures (in the 40's) and seasonable high temperatures (in the middle 70's).
However, as we head into late Saturday night our pleasant weather pattern will quickly come to an end. As a warm front moves north from the Gulf of Mexico we'll see increasing clouds and increasing rain chances. At least half of us will see showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. The best time for rain looks to be beginning late Saturday night (after midnight) through early Sunday afternoon.
As we head into the beginning of next week we'll keep warm and humid conditions in the forecast as strong southerly flow persists. In fact, temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 80's on Monday and Tuesday! We'll also keep a slight chance for showers in the forecast through Wednesday. Our next big weather maker (a cold front) looks to move through Cenla on Thursday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms and helping us clear out for next weekend.
