Another strong cold front blew into central Louisiana Wednesday morning with rain, thunderstorms, and much lower temperatures.
Max temps all across central Louisiana were in the lower 70s and were reached prior to the frontal passage. Daytime lows occurred during the middle or late morning with upper 40s to the upper 50s.
The cold front brought a general rain to the area with most amounts around an inch or less. Heavy rain was noted across both northern and southern portions of central Louisiana. The top five totals were: Ville Platte 3.20; Oberlin 2.40; Williana 1.90; Nantachie 1.80; and Cloutierville 1.70.
We will get a break from the rain Thursday and temps will remain below normal.
