1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
2 lbs. Owen's sausage
1 stick of butter
1 clove of garlic
1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
2 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 c. sharp white cheddar, shredded
1 c. mayonnaise
Brown sausage at medium-high heat. Add butter, garlic, and green onions to sausage and sauté until vegetables are wilted.
Remove from heat. Add cheeses and mayonnaise. Mix well.
Use fork to lightly hollow out bread halves. Discard removed bread.
Use spoon to fill cavity generously with sausage/cheese mixture.
Bake uncovered at 350 until bread is lightly toasted.
Cut and serve immediately.
Options: Meat: Ground meat, Italian sausage
Cheese: Cheddar/Jack, Mozzarella/parmesan
