Warm & Dry for Memorial Day

Posted: Updated:

A cold front is working it's way through the region today. This cold front is a "back door" cold front, which means it's approaching from the NE rather than the N or NW. Ahead of this front we'll see scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly throughout the afternoon hours.

Once the front moves through we can expect cooler morning lows for the next few days (in the 60's) and slightly drier air, which means less humidity through the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday high temperatures will be seasonably warm, in the upper 80's. Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds for both days, with more sunshine on Sunday. Your Memorial Day Forecast looks great as well, with warm and dry conditions.

As high pressure settles into the area we can expect quiet weather throughout the beginning of next week, with lows in the 60's and high's in the 80's with low rain chances.

Enjoy your Memorial Day forecast!
