A backdoor cool front is making its way through Louisiana. This front will likely stall, bringing us showers and thunderstorms today as well as tomorrow. Today's storms shouldn't reach a severe level, but a few gusty winds may be possible. A slight chance of showers will continue overnight and ramping up again by tomorrow as another shortwave system is forecasted to come through the area. A ridge is expected to build over CenLA during the weekend, however some models show a trough retrograding beneath the ridge, so it is possible we could see a few showers with this during the weekend.
