LOCATION...19.6 North 95.8 West or about 40 miles NE of Veracruz, Mexico
MOVEMENT...west, on a compass heading of 270 degrees, at 6 mph.
INTENSITY...the maximum sustained windspeed is 45 mph and the central pressure is 29.68 inches
OUTLOOK...Barry is expected to continue moving generally westward with a decrease in forward speed. Barry should reach the coast of the State of Veracruz Thursday morning. No significant change in strength is expected prior to landfall.
EFFECTS...Barry will be a rainmaker for southern Mexico. Rainfall amounts may reach 10 inches and this could trigger flash floods and mudslides, especially in mountainous areas.
