The upper level ridge currently over the west will make its way NE as the upper level trough digs its way down south. This will result in the "cool" front moving through CenLa by later tonight and some shower and thunderstorm activity today. Don't expect this front to cool things off too much, however by Saturday, some dry air should filter through and should dry things down a bit, but our temperatures will remain seasonable.
As front begins to fade away by the beginning of the work week, the temperatures and humidity will return to seasonable levels and your typical summertime pattern will result. We can expect some afternoon thunderstorms as the week progresses.
