Open house to promote responsible gaming

SHREVEPORT, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling to host open house.

The American Gaming Association along with its member properties has chosen the dates of  August 5-9, 2013 for Responsible Gaming Education Week.  The theme for this year  is "How  do you say Responsible Gaming?" Louisiana Association on Compulsive Gambling will join in the Responsible Gaming Education effort by hosting an open house at  CORE, Center of Recovery, residential treatment center on August 6 at 10 a.m. 

Local dignitaries, Legislators, members from the local gaming industry, media and community press representatives will be in attendance.  LACG employees will be on hand and available  to answer any questions about responsible gaming and problem gambling. A proclamation is to be presented from the Shreveport and Bossier City Mayors. Refreshments and a tour of CORE treatment facility will be provided.
