Dorian is located near latitude 14.6N and longitude 31.4W, or about 505 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands. Dorian is moving toward the WNW on a compass heading of 285 degrees at 20 mph. Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph and the central pressure is 29.59 inches.
Dorian is expected to continue moving toward the WNW through Friday. Dorian may weaken a bit as it moves over cooler water on Thursday.
