ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Crest Industries was at the Alexandria Lions Club meeting on Wednesday. They were there to discuss jobs.

The Crest Operations, which is the parent company of Beta Engineering, Distran Midstate Supply and Crest Natural Resources, currently has 18 jobs to fill.

While some fo the jobs require experience or a degree, some are said to be entry level.

"We have training opportunities. If you are an engineer, welder, machine operator, steel detailer.... if you are a drafter that's graduating from northwestern, Louisiana Tech, a technical college it's a great industry to come to work for and learn to grow with," said Kris Hickman of public relations at Crest Industries.
