RPSO needs your help in theft investigation

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance with a theft involving lawn equipment.

Early Wednesday morning, suspects reportedly went to the Indian Creek Recreation area maintenance yard and removed several lawn care items.

According to RPSO, the ones responsible have removed four weed eaters, one echo blower, one Honda four wheeler that was blue in color, and a new Scagg 48" Zero turn radius mower.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 318-473-7867 or Rapides Parish Detectives Office at 318-473-6727.

RPSO, said the same equipment taken early this month at Northwood High School was also taken at Indian Creek Recreation area maintenance yard.
