VPSO announces several arrests

VERNON PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office announces that they have made several arrests for narcotics.

According to VPSO, they arrested Sarah M. Jones, 32 of Alexandria on July 18.  Jones was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I, possession of schedule II, and possession of schedule IV.   Bond for Jones has been set at $31,000. 

Lacey Jo Crossland, 27 of Vick was arrested on July 18. Crossland was charged with possession of marijuana, this is a second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I, second offense, possession of schedule II, and possession of schedule IV.  Bond for Crossland has been set at $31,000. 

Ricky L. Bretherton, 41 of Leesville was arrested on July 19.  Bretherton was arrested for possession of schedule I, second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  Bretherton's was released on $11,000 bond.

Kimberly S. Redden, 34 of Leesville on July 19. Redden was charged with possession of schedule I, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Redden's has been released on $6,000 bond.

Tonya Davis, 33 of Leesville was arrested July 22. Davis was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misrepresentation during issuance of a misdemeanor.  Bond was set for Davis at $2,350. However, a hold has been put on Davis by Leesville City Marshall's Office and San Jacinto County.

Catherine L. McDaniel, 54, of New Llano was arrested on July 23. McDaniel was charged with possession of schedule III, exploitation of infirmed persons and theft of assets of an aged or disabled person.  McDaniel's bond was set at $13,500.
