Teen killed in ATV crash in Red River Parish

COUSHATTA, La. (AP) - State police say a teenager was killed in an ATV accident in Red River Parish.
   
Trooper Albert Paxton says the accident happen early Wednesday morning on Doc Martin Road east of La. Highway 507.
   
Paxton says an ATV driven by 16-year-old Dakotta Huckabay of Coushatta was traveling east when it left the roadway, hit a dirt embankment and overturned.
   
Paxton says Huckabay was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead on scene by the Red River Parish Coroner's office.
