ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – A good old fashioned brawl lands two teens in the slammer.

According to Alexandria Police Department, they have arrested 19-year-old John Curtis Hicks of Colfax and 19-year-old Hayley Ryder of Pineville for causing a disturbance in a bar in the 7500 block of Coliseum Blvd.

APD said, they were dispatched on Sunday to the bar in reference to Hicks and Ryder refusing to leave. Ryder allegedly threw a drink in the face of one of the staff members and then sprayed two other staff members with pepper spray.

APD also said that Hicks attempted to fight with security.

Hicks is being charged with one count of disturbing the peace and Ryder is being charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of remaining on the premises after being forbidden.
