FAIRVIEW, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's detectives have arrested a man for six vehicle burglaries in Fairview.

According to NPSO, they have arrested 21-year-old Tyler Beach of Campi for several vehicle burglars that occurred approximately seven months ago.

Deputies said they responded to reports of several burglaries on Jan. 7, 2013. Some of the items reported stolen were a Remington, model #870, 12 gauge shot gun, radar detectors, and music discs.

DNA was said to be found at the crime scenes. It was submitted into the FBI Combined DNA Index System. It resulted in a hit, matching the DNA profile of a prior offender.

On August 2, Quachita Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested the suspect identified as Beach, in the Monroe area.

Beach was transported to Natchitoches, and interviewed by detectives where he confessed to the burglaries.

He is being charged with six counts of simple burglary of a vehicle and is waiting a bond hearing.
