An Alexandria woman arrested in Colfax for burglary

COLFAX, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – An Alexandria woman is caught red handed, according to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.

 The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office said they have arrested Nicole Leach, 32 of Alexandria for aggravated burglary.

 A homeowner in Colfax called and reported a woman in their home. They gave a full description and then escaped the premises.  Deputies said they arrived, while the burglary was in progress.

Leach is accused of breaking out a window to the back door, forcing her way in the home and firing a pistol into the wall of the home.
