RPSO Blood Drive For Little Boo

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office will be holding a blood drive for Little Boo Maddox.

The blood drive will be held from 8 am until 2pm Thursday.

It will be at the Sheriff's Office Motor Pool on John Allison Drive in Alexandria.

Little Boo was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus four years ago.

Leaders from the Sheriff's Office say they want to help the Maddox family during this troubling time.

"It is just devastating to him and his family. It has been such a burden on the family and they have stood by this baby since day one. They are with him now. The dad is up there with him in Minnesota. We just want to do our part with the blood center to raise blood to help them and help this family," said Sheriff William Hilton.

Little Boo Maddox is currently in Minnesota recovering from a kidney transplant.
