LSUA Freshman Orientation

Posted: Updated:

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) LSUA began its first session of freshman orientation Friday morning.

Student ambassadors lead more than one hundred LSUA freshman in group breakout sessions.

The breakout sessions are designed to help students prepare for the new school year.

Freshman orientation leaders say the sessions give students an opportunity to get ahead.

"We just have different sessions throughout the day depending on kind of your background and where you are coming from. Just really want to give you as much information as you like and that we can. We are just trying to make you feel comfortable with the university. Because we are definitely excited about the upcoming semester," said Ben Rosier.

The date for the second LSUA freshman orientation session is set for August 16th.
