Here is the latest on the weather across the Atlantic Basin.
Satellite imagery indicates that former Tropical Storm Erin has degenerated into a remnant low. Erin is located about 1080 miles WNW of the Cape Verde Islands and continues to move toward the west at 8 mph. This is the last advisory on Erin unless regeneration occurs.
Former disturbance 92-L over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico has died and this will be the last update concerning it.
We have a new system to watch, however, as a tropical wave between the west coast of Africa and the Cape Verde Islands is producing disorganized cloudiness, showers, and thunderstorms. This system has been designated 94-L and is moving westward at 10 mph. Any development of 94-L is expected to be slow.
