LAKEWOOD, CO (KUSA/CNN) - A Colorado teen was arrested Sunday for starting an apartment fire.

The fire occurred Friday, Aug. 16 and injured several residents. When fire crews arrived at the scene, one apartment was already fully engulfed in flames and the entire complex had to be evacuated.

Jalen Berg, 19, faces a slew of felony charges, including multiple accounts of attempted murder, first-degree arson, and child abuse.

Four people were treated for minor injuries, including Berg himself. Who was arrested after being treated at the hospital.

Arson investigators say Berg got into a physical fight with his father the night of the fire and they believe he started the fire in retaliation.
