Alexandria woman arrested for cutting a man

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Alexandria Police arrest woman on charge of Aggravated Battery. 

On August 24, Alexandria Police arrested Eddie Mae Moss, 55 of Alexandria and charged her with one count of Aggravated Battery. At 1:40 a.m. APD officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2000 Block of Main Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the investigation found that a 59-year-old Alexandria man was cut by Moss while involved in a domestic related altercation.

Police said Moss was arrested on scene without incident and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. Police said this incident is still under investigation and no other details are being released at this time.
